Well, just got my 1996 328i outta the shop because I rolled over 100,000 miles and my AC controls went out, thus turning off the AC. ghead

I drove it this morning and the AC popped on for a good 3 minutes and then shut off again.

Does anyone know if I need new AC controls or do I have some lose wiring?

does the air just stop getting cold or does the air stop moving copmletely? Is the compressor engaging? What did the shop do (where you just took the car)? You're going to have to give some detail so I can help you narrow it down
