AC clutch on compressor

You may have read my earlier post "deealership tech on dope". Now that I have found the problem is with the AC compressor clutch. Can anyone tell me if I can replace the clutch assembly without replacing the whole compressor. A new one is about 4 bills and right now I just can't come up with it.

Unfortunately this happened right in the middle of getting my seats redone. If I could replace the clutch assembly my self I might be able to swing it.

Yes, I think you can. I think you can because sometimes these clutches start to wear out and make this AWFUL screaching noise and I think ive overheard talk of someone just replacing the clutch to fix it. So, it sounds like it's modular and you can replace just the clutch.

Call bavauto and ask about parts. They have everything in their warehouse, they just dont list it online.
