Abs Light

I've searched but I haven't found out how to reset the ABS. Since I bought my car the ABS light has been on. Last semester I was too busy to work on my car and I took it to a shop that replaced my brake rotors (it was super expensive, I hope never to do this again) and they told me that the insulation on a couple of wires had come off and so they must have shorted to cause my ABS to disable. They said they replaced the wire or the insulation (I don't remember now), but that all you need to turn back on the system is some kind of light. I didn't really know what that meant. Does anybody know how to turn the ABS back on?

you should get the code read. its probably a speed sensor is defective. they are pretty expensive for nothing.

There is also an ABS Sensor... When my ABS light went on, the dealership changed the ABS Sensor and the problem was gone.

Can't tell how much it worth because they did this repair under my warranty

Edit : You are right, I think SPEED SENSOR is the real name for what I called ABS Sensor.

I had mine come on and after I changed my brake pads it went away
don't know if that helps just a comment
