Hi all, first post, and start with a little advice
Just wonder if I could pick some people advice. A BMW dealer has advised me after trying new ABS relays that the ABS ECU (The thing hidden behind the glove box) is faulty and needs replacing.. Due to me not wanting to spend the earth to buy a new one from the dealer (as it's somewhere about £730), I plan to get one second hand from a parts company/scrap yard. Or could you advice me in a better direction.
Also, after taking the glove box out, (which wasn't as hard as i thought it would be ) can anyone advice me the best way to take the ABS ECU out? i know I can remove it in it's bracket (2 x 10mm bolts) + one smaller bolt at the back, but there are loads of cables connected and don't really want to break anything.
The car details are:
E36 328i Sports Coupe (95 or 96.. N reg anyway...) M52 engine
Your help is much appreciated
Brodie
