ABS and ASC lights

Hi! The dealership changed the 4 rotors on my 318i. Everything was fine... Then, 24 hours later, the ABS and the ASC lights went on in my dashboard... What's wrong? I'm tired of going to the dealership... Do you think it may be something I can reset? I mean.. is it something like oil change lights??

take it to the dealer if they just worked on it and make them fix it free.

Yeah that's what I'll do if it's more than only grounding a pin in the computer connector... Would prefer not to go back to the dealer lol....

just take it back to them. They might have forgoten to put back or hook up the sensors or something stupid like that. Just let them fix it and then never go back. They shouldn't charge you any money.

You pay a lot more to have a dealer do a professional job. If the light came on right after they worked on your rotors, they must have made a mistake. Take it back, and I'm sure they will fix it for free with out giving you too much grief.

now had you not been to the dealer for this in the 1st place we'd prolly be singing a diffrent tune.

Holy cow... I can't beleive I am going to recommned this but run to the dealer!!!LOL

Seriously, take it back and let them know that the lights just went on after they serviced the car. the more importnat point than resetting the lights is to let one of those technicians go back over the work and make sure they didn't screw something up. remember the indicator isn't the problem.. the problem is the problem....

Oh in case it wasn't obvious.. do not pay for anything!!!!!

unless it is a totaly unrelated problem. but even then take it home do it your self or take it someplace else.

totaly take it back be like hey it didn't do this before you all worked on it FIX IT FRICKERS
they TOTALY FCUKED my e30 M3 with the wrong oil and had to have a total engine rebuild (long story) they did it so they had to pay for the whole thing, I said you pay or I sue and they paid up Love making the dealerships put out the money

Well... I'll go back to dealership lol... Man I have this car for 5 or 6 weeks only and I went to the dealership like 5 or 6 times... At least it didn't cost me a penny for every repair they had done on it!
