I just put my summer wheels back on my car and have noticed that ocasionally I get a shimmy/shake from the car upon braking. I've had the lower control arm bushings replaced recently and the alignment was fine with the winter wheel/tire combo, so my question is, could that shake that I occasionally expericence be due to a wheel being off balance, or is it just slightly out of dish(not perfectly round - could be a possibilty considering the potholes in my area)
Any input would be appreciated, btw, the rotors are perfect and this does not occur everytime I brake, this never occured once with the winter wheels.

only during braking? i know you said the rotors are fine, but how were you able to determine that they are not warped. usually this type of shimmy would be felt while driving as well, especially at low speeds.
I ran this exact tire/wheel combo last summer...no probs
so I can rule out any incompatability issues, and as far as knowing that the rotors are true, I just took the winter wheels off and handnt experienced anything like that in the 5-6k miles I put on them.
I'm leaning towards one of my wheels being slightly out of dish...
It's really only noticeable when traveling at highway speeds and braking...its enough of an problem/annoyance that I definitely want it fixed asap.

turns out two wheels were off balance by about an ounce
They were balanced to the accuracy of a 1/10 of an ounce and now it seems much better. The whop who did it was great and I would highly recommend them to anyone in the eastern MA area, they are RideTech in Kingston MA.
