| Fully possible. Cost prohbitive for most people due to labour. Average time to complete is 10-12 hours. Easiest way to do the swap is with a donor car. However because you have an M3 you would require an M3, or a 328i with a ZF tranmission.
You need transmisson, clutch, flywheel, pedal assembly, shifter linkage, slave cylinder, and an LSD. You also need to flash the ECU otherwise it will still think its an Auto and throw codes.
