Whenever the weather is hot, and the car is under the sun for a long time, the air conditioning in the car is not cold at all, it's almost warm. Somtimes air does not even come out. I tried unplugging and replugging the relay and that worked for a few days and the air is extremely cold like it used to be, but now it's warm again.

Is it a failure in the temperature sensors? thanks in advance

Have you tried to recharge your a/c recently? they start to blow cold very badly when the unit has almost lost its charge.

go to target(I KNOW, I KNOW) they sell a a/c 134a recharger w/a testing gague on it for like $15. it works great, and the gague is removable so u can keep it and use it whenever u need to. 1 can will fill it up 3/4, so 2 cans to fully charge w/some extra for later.

maybe u have cracks in the lines that expand when they heat up causing air to escape and bad a/c flow. maybe have it checked by an a/c shop. usually the initial check is free. worth a shot. dont go to the dealer. find an independant shop w/euro car experience.

good luck.
btw, where do u live?

I parked it in the garage for a night, and it blows out cold air (cold air as in a/c kind of cold, not regular air) again, so I doubt it's the ac losing it's charge since once it starts working, even if I'm driving under hot temperature it still blows out cold air, but if I leave parked out in the sun for a long time, sometimes air stops coming out, or sometimes hot air comes out.

and btw, I live in Philadelphia, PA.

It seems that the A/C is the big talk of the town..

mine is driving me grazy...I start the car and air comes on the fan is turning and stops .....next time start the car and nothing turn on....no air/ warm or cold no sound anywhere.

Is it the belt or air compressor/ all the obvious have been checked...where can someone get a a/c manual?
