98 m3 145k miles fair price and should I worry?

How worried should I be about 145k miles on a 98 e36 m3? I am looking at this car, M&S Auto Inventory Detail .
Would I be better off waiting and looking for another car? Also I realize it is an auto but this car is for my girlfriend, she can drive a stick but is looking at mainly autos. Do you think 7500 is a fair price?

Thanks

The transmission may become an issue if the fluid has never been changed.

coolvegase34 is an unknown quantity at this point
The mileage is way too high, especially for a performance car. You will spend a lot on maintenance. There are other m3's that have been offered for sale on this site with lower miles and better shape for about 2g's more. Why not get a coupe instead of a sedan if you are going for an m3?
