98 323iC Head Issue
Hey all... I recently had what started as a brief misfire on cylinder three at startup turn out to be a head gasket leak into that cylinder specifically. So, I did a HG job, having the head resurfaced in the process.
All back together and motor runs great... HOWEVER... after only about four days the misfire on three has returned. Just like in round one, after sitting all night the plug on number three will have condensation on it and the others will be dry, suggesting coolant there.
Would it be a likely assumption that I've got a crack in the head, proximate to cylinder three, that the machine shop didn't see?
