97 323 coupe questions?

I notice a sticky on the trunk wiring issue--before I cut it open- any idea if it relates to the fuel door not locking shut until I central lock the doors? (and then someone has to hold it shut while I do it)

Also have the airbag and abs lights on--would like to cure those issues.
AND--the computer screen is so dim it is illegible. Any idea if there are "lighting" LED's that need replacement? Is it dificult if that is the case?

Finally---what should my RPM be at highway speeds in 5th gear (110km--70mph) It seems to be revving a bit high but I want to hear what others say . .
