 96 328I HK Stereo Issue
Howdy, could use some help here. I have a 96 3281 equipped with the Harmon Kardon stereo and have lost all sound except for muffled noise from the rear deck speakers and front kick panel speakers. I suspect that my amp has shit the bed as this has been a progressive illness (lost fronts first, then rears). I don't want to spend the $100 on a used amp if it won't fix the problem, however driving without sound is leaving me with only the noise in my own head (aarrrgghhhh!!!!!). Is there a way to bypass the amp if it turns out to be the problem? I am capable with a multimeter and able to diagnose with the right guidance. Thanks. |
