95 325is with some strange problems - BMW Forum

Hey all, first time posting, I've got a few problems that Google didn't seem to solve.

Starting today, I noticed that when in 1st gear, I'm not sure if its the fuel economy gauge or what, but it appears as though I'm using triple to quadruple the amount of fuel I would normally be using. Revving at 2.5k and past is when the needle passes 30l/100km on the gauge, and I am unable to see it. 2nd gear and onward acts as normal. Could it just be the gauge, or something more sinister?

While driving along normally the other day my ABS light and traction control lights lit up on the dash, and I had lost my traction control and ABS. They stayed off until I shut off the car for a few minutes and turned it back on where they turned off and I had regained control of both. The lights have been coming on intermittently ever since. Could it just be a loose wheel sensor?

when your accelerating from a dead stop your milage will go to like 42L/100km
but thats only durring acceleration.. once your cruising at city speeds it should be back to like 10-15L/100KM thats pretty normal on all vehicles...

as to your other part i only ran into that when i had my monte carlo... and that would only happen when i would do a e-break slide and that was jsut becase sensors were toggled a weird way...

it doesnt seem like your having any issues really... I could be mistaking but thats just my 2 cents...

cus in my 92 325 when i accel from dead stop it goes past 30 as well but then comes down.. same with my buddies 93 318 so your ok on that
