Is this 95 325ic Worth Buying??

I was wondering if I can get some advice on if this particular car is worth buying. It's a 95 325ic with about 94k miles on it. The place is asking for 10,500 for it. It seems to be in fairly good condition as far as the eye can see. Here's a link to it 95 325ic Pictures If i purchase it, I'll be trading in a car that's has factory warranty still in tact for a car that has no warranty at all. I know you guys know more about BMW's than I, so I was just wondering if anyone knew of things to look out for in this particular model and year. Of course I would have it checked out before I seriously considered buying it though.

The book value is about 13k. It looks very nice on pic. If the mech. is in order then I would say it is worth it.
I like the taillights but don't expect anybody else on this forum to like 'em.

I learn more everyday that e36's are pretty good cars with regards to reliability, build quality, and of course the fun factor. So, if you have a full factory warranty on a Ford Festiva, I would say go for it. But yes Mattijah is right (regarding the rest of us), those tail lights are hideous.

I,ve got the same car in black with 65,000 miles and I paid $14,600. I think for the mileage its a good deal, not a steal but it appears to be in really good shape. The color is nice. 5 speed or auto? 5 speed is hard to find. You are missing the convertable hinge covers, one of mine was gone too. Only $19 each but tricky to install

Looks like it has an upgraded exhaust.
I've never driven an auto bmw, but i have heard they are quite slow compared to the manuals.

I think so, but I'd still take my 323is over any other car, manual or auto, even if it's worth $5,000 more.

The exhaust looks a little non-standard.
Those tail lights have GOT to GO!
If you didn't know already, BMW's last 200k+ miles without any major malfunctions or repairs if you take care of them well + change fluids.

If you get the car, and I sugest you do, I reccomend you:
1. Change taillights out to something non-rice.
2. Get european elipsoids. (much better than american's stock headlights)
3. Paint the sideskirts and bumper from the grey to the normal body color. (sideskirts just have the grey rubbery stuff sprayed on and can simply be removed with some elbow greese)
4. Maybe wheels if the stock ones arn't your style.

After that, you'd have a really decked out bimmer in your hands.

sure they are slower any car that is same in everything but auto manaul manual will be faster unless shitty driver, but mainly applies to the 318 such a small engine! anyways im not a fan of convertables but if thats your thing go for it, and i also am not a fan of those tailights but im not going to say to lose them becuase some people like them and thats why they are on that car, cant dis them for that. you like em you keep em!
