95' 318 is drives slow at first

icandelaria n00b Join Date: Apr 2011 Car: Posts: 1 Photos:	95' 318 is drives slow at first trying to restore 95 318 is , has a new battery ,thermostat , replace a rubber air intake gasket, took it for a drive and when i accelarate it moves slow and after a min or so it picks up and drives fine. if i come to a stop and start accelarating again same things happens, it takes reverse just fine .don't know how to fix it any advise?
