Unhappy 94 e36 convertible HELP!!

I need help ASAP! so I just bought a bmw project. I am no mechanic but it was in a project shape. the motor and the transmission are good, but it just needs a couple pieces around the motor put back in the car, the interior redone as well as doors dash and the pump for the convertible needs to be put in as well as the zipper window. besides that the car is in perfect shape id like to say. oh and the gas line needs to be replaced.

I downloaded bently's mechanic PDF book that will show me how to put everything back together but i just wanted someone help on like whats needs to be done regarding the radiator hoses that need to be connected and all that stuff. ill post pictures so you can see my new Bimmer.

Welcome to Bimmerwerkz.

What help did you need with the rad hoses? They look connected to me.

Couple things i noticed, why is the car half white, and half black? The BMW Color tag says its supposed to be Schwartz. Was the car in an accident and rebuilt?

Looks like you have a wire from the fuel rail sticking out and dangling at the front their. The wiring harness at the back is missing the cover. Your intake and MAF is missing (hopefully intentionally). I didnt know the Vert's came with one one windshiled wiper.

The front end is in pretty rough shape, and it looks like your missing your drivers side fog light bracket. Your passenger headlight is pretty out of alignment. You have a connector dangling down below the bumper near the fog light.

The guy said it needed a new gas line, the radiator put back into place, new spark plugs, he said its all there to get back up and running but I have no clue about these beautiful masterpieces so I am studying as much as I can from the bently book and looking at e36 YouTube videos on how to replace things online. I want to post more pics but it wont let me, Ill see if I can get a couple more in.

Check out the link for all the photos I took on the car

For uploading pictures i use PostImage.org. Its completey free and you can make an account to save your images for future use. Its for uploading images to forums and other places. Any images you have seen me upload have been through PostImage.org.

The spark plugs and rad are easy to swap out. If your going to replace the rad you may was well redo the whole cooling system. The water pump and thermostat housing were made of plastic and were notorious for cracking and leaking with age. Replace the water pump with a Stewart metal impeller pump, and the thermostat housing with an aluminum one. As well the expansion tank was plastic as well so its recommeneded you replace that when you do the rad.

As for the gas line, personally i would pay to have that done. I dont like messing around with gas stuff if i dont have to. Ive never replaced a gas line before so i cant tell you how hard it is or isnt.

Your trunk lid is in pretty rough shape. Looks like its been repainted before.
