yeahh im just wondering if any of you know how much or could give me a good guess/estimate on how much insurance would run on a '94 325is for a 16 year old.. the car technically isnt going to be in his name but on mine.. thanks for the helpp
The main factor for them really is if it's 5-speed or automatic. For me (I'm 16) I've got a 325i that's insured under my parents name but I'm also on the insurance so it jacks all the other cars up.
Anyways I've got a '92 325i 5 speed and it's like 350 bucks for 6 months for just liability. If I wanted full coverage it'd be something like 600 dollars for 6 months. Also I've got a totally clean record 0 tickets 0 accidents *knock on wood*

if your going to be a secondary driver it wont be too much. im only 24 and a primary driver on my 94 325is and i havent paid more than 2100 a year for insurance (thats in canadian dollars)
I pay about 1300 a year for full coverage. I'm 21 under my parents coverage, also out of NJ. 5 spd 318i...I use New jersey manufacturers as well. I have a pretty bad record (few speeding tickets, minor accident, lost lisence for wreckless driving). only a $125 surcharge a year for losing my Ls. It was bullshit that it happened though...
