After the shock of learning of the burnt up tranny, I have been checking in to a rebuilt or having it rebuilt.
It seems that shops are quoting based on different tranny's.
Does anyone know if there was different auto tranny's in the above model?
I have received quotes from 1450-5,000.
The lowest being a tranny shop in Santa Ana to highest being dealer. The lowend comes with 12 month & high comes with 24 month warranty.
Gotta make the right choice, would hate to get a tranny that does not perform the same.
Any help is appreciated.
