I find that I need to replace the fuel pump in my 325I, however I find it is not available local without special order. With the pricing that I am getting it appears online is my best choice.
I find that there is some reference to plastic or right side, is there something I can do (without pulling the old pump)?
Does anyone have a experience with the on line sources, as to which would have the fastest ship time (assuming the item is in stock)?
Any information that you can offer would be much appreicated.
Thanks in advance

I would Check out ebay or an online source. I bought one a couple years ago from ebay because i thought it might go bad soon, and I just got finished installing it in my 92 325i
It is separated into two pieces: one is the pump with a fuel level sending unit and the other side is just a sending unit . I could see how they might be sold separately.
It was a rather simple procedure. Yet DANGEROUS so check out some saftey precautions !
the whole job took about an hour or so
good luck
