'94 318is windshield seal cracked--what to do?

ultraviolet353 Neutral Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Car: Posts: 92 Photos:	The rubber seal under my windshield is cracked and almost gone--it is connected to the light grey metal piece that runs all the way across under the windshield. Can I have this resealed or do I have to replace the whole part. How much money am I looking at and do I have to take it to BMW? If I do not take it to BMW what kind of specialist should I see.

El Presidente Defector Join Date: Dec 2002 Location: Long Island Car: Posts: 5,973 Photos:	its common. I replaced mine last summer i think. Sometime within a year. its $24/per side plus labor if you have someone else do it. All you have to do is unbolt the wiper arm and it comes right off though.
