i am soon to be picking up a 93 M50 engine and i'm currently looking for aftermarket internals. i need rods, pistons, valves basically. i plan on using M3 cams, and a set of springs and retainers from Turner Motorsports. so where can i find the rods, pistons, and valves? also, should i stick with OEM headgasket? the engine will be built for turbo later on down the road. ARP headbolts or something similar will be needed. i know i'm forgetting stuff, and i want to do this right. anyone have any links or information to give me? thanks.

VAC motorsports have race m50 engines. Maybe you could ask them for parts. Not sure though.

1992 non vanos M50's are better for turbos.

yes, that was my original thought. however, i'm having trouble finding aftermarket support for the 92 non-vanos engine. i'm having trouble finding any internal parts for either engine tho. i also have a 93 engine at my disposal for very cheap. i could possibly have a 92, although i'm not entirely sure. i plan on doing the build-up, then the swap to minimize downtime. and so far, you guys havent been much help.
