hey everyone i'm new here. i was wondering what your thoughts were on what steps i can take to get the most bang for my buck.

The two mods you have give the most bang for buck after that you can do exhaust. Overall the most bang for buck is a supercharger.

damn, i cant find an affordable supercharger anywhere. what about nitrous???know of any affordable chargers?

i heard from a friend that a 86-93 stang 5.0 charger will work on my car. anyone know if there's any truth to this?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but putting a supercharger or a turbocharger on it can blow the engine. Engines have to be made stronger in order to withstand the forces of a turbo. My mechanic buddies say unless the car has low enough miles, don't risk putting in a turbo. Please correct me if I'm wrong though. This is just what I've heard.

You're correct. Usually you will probably have to have the engine rebuilt if it has high mileage before you add the TC or SC. It can destroy an engine very quickly if things aren't secure or working perfectly. I would only think about that if my engine had <30,000 or I rebuilt it. Not worth the risk.
