Thumbs up 93 325i push to start

my lock cylinder went out in the ignition and i dont feel like spending a couple hundred dollars and waiting a week for it to get fixed. so i am interested in doing a push to start button in my car. i does have an aftermarket clifford alarm system which i am told complicates my situation. does anybody that has experience have a step by step or some useful tips for me? the best way to contact my at this moment is my email( cmwlaxer@gmail.com ) or just by this thread.
thanks

Welcome to Bimmerwerkz

First, a push button ignition is going to be a lot more expensive then an ignition. You have to bypass the EWS system completley. The ignition and key have a chip, and the igntion matches the code given by the key. If the code doesnt match then the car doesnt start. Just cutting power to it doesnt bypass it.

Also, you should remove your email from here. Being that this is a public forum your email is now awailable to every single person on the internet, including spammers.
