Question '93 325i Not cranking

It was driving fine. My brother pulled in a parking lot to eat, and when he got back in to drive away, it wouldn't start. There is the slight clicking of the starter solenoid. Weird thing is, when he turns the key to ACC, the interior lights come on like usual, but when he turns the ignition to start the car, every light/radio goes out and there is only one click from the starter.

1993 BMW 325i A/T
I checked:
Battery terminal connections
Cleaned terminals
Jumped the battery
Swapped batteries
Checked fuses that relate to starting
Double checked that it was registering that it was in park

I'm guessing there must be a short since its blacking out everything.. Didn't see any problems with the wiring that goes into the trunk lid.

We had to leave it in a sketchy part of town so any help would be greatly appreciated. We would like to get it out of that area asap. Thanks everyone!

I'd rather be riding my motorcycle thinking about God than sitting in church thinking about my motorcycle.

Probably the ignition itself is in need of replacement.

It ended up being a combination of the starter freezing up and a bad battery. I tapped on the starter a few times and saw that it finally cranked the engine some, but still not at 100% power. Had the battery checked and it was faulty. Swapped it out and it fired right up! I guess the battery wasn't accepting my 'jump charge' for some reason.

What are the chances of the starter freezing up AND the battery going dead at the same time?!

I'm just glad it's back going again. Thanks for your input Lord Vader!
