| I own a '93 325i 4dr automatic here in northern va. I usually take it out on my lunch break and for the last couple of months I've had some strange things happen on very hot days. It seems on days where the heat exceeds about 93 degrees, the transmission slips causing the car to buck like a horse on take off and when approaching a stop. Is this a sign that the transmission is going? Is it strange that it only seems to occur on hot days? After a little bit of driving it has always corrected itself(so far). Perhaps the airflow cools something down enough to where it can function properly. This has happened a total of 5 times so far and thankfully doesn't persist as I don't have a lot of money to throw into it at the moment. Any ideas or suggestions greatly appreciated. |
