I have an electrical problem i cant figure out because it is so intermittent. The symptoms include but are not limited to: headlights dimming, cluster dimming, radio on and off. Sometimes i can go days with no issues and other times it starts within 5minutes of driving. Im new to the BMW crew. This site seems to be the place that could help. Oh yeah, i have replaced all the org. fuses,batt., and the alternator. I would really like to fix it myself, so thanks in advance for any ideas.

have you checked the tensioner for your belt? they will start to seize and won't apply tension to your belt causing it to slip thus not letting the alternator fully run. might not be the culprit but it is easy to check
