hey my name is randy i live in france n i'm lookin to upgrade my E36 TD never really worked wit diesels wonderin if theres anythin i should kno before toyin wit it looking to make at least 250 300 horses...where should i start

The E36 Diesel makes 140hp stock. It will require a major investment in time and money to get it making 250hp.

Most people upgrade the turbo, but with that requires upgrading other components as well.

k so i was wondering my motor got 402000kms should i do redo the block or should i buy a next motor...and what size turbo would be best ???also i got a i think it's a 65mm exhaust straight nutin in between

Wow, 402,000 km is pretty impressive. Me personally, if it were my car I wouldnt redo the engine or replace it until it needs to be replaced. If it aint broke, dont fix it.

Depends on your budget. You have to make the turbo you choose work with the rest of the car.

Ok so wut size turbo would u recomend for the output i want...this the first time i'm doing it on my car experimenting so i can learn for myself...i've worked at a fabrication shop b4 so i'm not bad at that jus need the practice lol
