328is Vs...

hey guys. im in my winter car n right now. grand cherokee. anyways i was driving today and i saw an is300, supposidly "type r" civic, g35, mustang gt. it really got me thinking about my 328is and if (besides my driving skills) what could a 328is beat. im talking about typical riced out hondas or anything but stuff that is close to the 328. any comments would be sweet. thanx guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! B)

well my 2.8i engine with some mod work done to it I've smoked a new mazda rx8, a 98 stang gt, eclipse spider, 2001 turboed honda civic with lots of extra stuff (close race though) and I've beat some others. I'm pretty sure a g35 would beat me. I should mention I've lost to a twin turboed honda prelude, a pretty heavily modded e46 330 (had everything but turbo or sc), svt cobra...

You'll beat most ricers out there because not many ricers do more then a cheap coffee can exaust and intake.

haha alright speedy. you come up to washington and we will see. ...ya i laughed when i saw the "type r" on the back of that civic. so pretty much anything except turboed stuff...and things taht are obviously faster. ill pry post more on what i see around here to see if any of you have encountered anything like it. thanx

theres a ton of turbo hondas and integras around here and i destroy them all the time. a turbo on a micro-machine is still a slow car......

ummmmm, WA is a bit far, but any local 328 guys want to do some mountains to see what happens......lets make a big deal out of it too.

well i live in washigton and drive a 325 we can race, haha go hit chuckanut that is my road! haha, anyways you should be able to take a lot of the turboed civics etc.... close but i fyou got the the mods you should be good

I think there are a lot of cars who will beat yours (and mine). It all depends on the $$$ you've spend and less comfort means often faster. A 328 is comfortable, fast, looks badass and girls love it.

i have a 328is with intake, pulleys, and fan delete. i have beaten an g35 6 speed (by only a half a car, he passed me at like 110mph), just raced an Audi s4, 2000 that had intake and chip and i beat he also. i think he may have had a problem with the turbos because stock they are 14.1 on the quarter mile. I also raced my cusins toyota tacoma s runner. He had a TRD supercharger and a 7th injjector, headers, and other stuff. He beat me by a half car. I want to race my brothers Rx8 next!!!

yeah the s4 had to have something wrong.. they arent great for 1/4 mile becuase they are heavy... but if you were rolling on the freeway and he dropped you would never see him again.. still dont think you could take a s4

twin turbo v8 . its sad how the audi bairly has more hp than the inline 6 m3. oh well. i think its 10hp if im correct. 333bhp vs 343 bhp. i could be wrong
