328i sticking throttle?

Hi, I have a 98 328i cabrio manual.

Recently once the car warms up and you change gear it holds the revs for half a second or so... it does not seem to do this when cold.

Could it be the throttle cable catching? or could the PCV valve be jammed / gunked up?

Anyone else had this problem?

Thanks in advance Matt

could very well be your ICV is gunked up. I had similar problems before i ripped it apart and cleaned it. It was kinda a pain to reach, but i have big hands. There is a good DIY article on this site. Good luck.
