hi,
which one of them is faster and how much faster? 328 has more torque but almost the same power as 325 (142kw vs 141kw). Maybe 325 runs better at high rpms (5500-6400) and can smoke 328?
That one, you would have to find out yourself, as road and track has yet to perform such a face off. The 2.8L is a superior engine, and with a few mods, as i have had performed, it is closer to an M3 than a 325.

yeah i know that 325 don't have chance in 0-60 but at higher speeds where rpms are high (5500-6400) i think 325 should show it's advantages, because @6000rpm 328 has noticebly less torque than 325.

???????? The 328 runs the 0-60 in 7.2 sec and the 325 in 7.8 I thought. When you say the 328 ('only' 192 HP) just do it in 6.5, it's almost the same time as the '93-'95 euro M3 with 286 HP!! This M3 runs it in 5.9 sec!

i dont want to be a bench racer or anything, but for comparison purposes, in road tests i usually see 328's do 6.3-6.5, 323's do 6.6-7.1, and 325's do 7.5-7.8
