Seems as though my e36 is testing my patience.

Went to wash my car today as it was nice and sunny today. After waiting in line at idle for about ten minutes I turned off the engine. When I tried to restart nothing happened. Cluster lights up. Battery is brand new. Plugs and coils are new. Could this be the starter? Same thing happened a week ago on a warm day but started u five minutes later. Any relays or wires I should be looking at? My mechanic friend said it was a bad starter but the starter was changed last year in May.

Thanks.

No noise whatsoever. The engine didn't even turnover. Just dead silence. After an hour or so, after the car cooled off, she started up on the first attempt.
