My completely stock 325is tops out at about 120mph. I could probably go a little faster, but it loses a lot of power when I hit that speed. Is that normal for a 325is? I really have know idea, but I'd think it would be faster.
It should easily reach 130MPH at that point the electric governer will kick in stop you from going over. With the governer(chipped) can go easily to 143-147.
At those speeds the drag coeffcient of the car really comes into play, but most importantly the tires. If you have H rated tires, then anything over 120 would be hard to hit, as the tire itself cannot handle the force. You will remain at that speed, or the tire will tear itself apart.
Assuming you have a chip and z rated tires, your TS would be around 135-140. Thats assuming you can overcome the drag.

I have H rated tires and I easily hit 130MPH banging the speed limiter. I even have the video of it. The tire rating is suggested for long period of time. Such as , if one were to continue travel at 130 and above for more than 30 mins, on a summer day, then the tire will burst.
If you idiots are pointing fingers towards me. Watch out, since I have the video to prove it. Yes, I have done 130MPH even according to the speed gauge. After that, it dosen't let you go above 130MPH. I have seen a 328is top around 143, rest I don't know.
Remember, elevation, weather, weight, condition, Tire rating, air pressure, all these things matter. You can never have a conclusive result.
Hmm..as for as I know my is is stock..I had it up to 130 and let off..but I do know that it would have went way past 140..I stil had plenty of room...hmm..but only way for me to find out is to do it,,,,sence I dont have a track close by I hope the coppers aint around..Ill let ya know...
With no limiters (like all BMW's in Europe) the STOCK 325i can get 233 km/h (145 mph). The 328i is a little bit faster; 236 km/h (147 mph). My car is complete stock and I have tried top speed on a road in flat area and guess what; the needle did stop exactly at 233 km/h! When I have my own camera I will make a video and post it on my site.
P.S. roguesniper, please post your vid in the 'Video Vault'!
