Just wondering if anyone could help me out on fixing my prob?
Sometimes when I am driving in 2nd-4th gear my check engiene light goes on or the car chokes or even dies out but when i push on the gas the car gives a little choke and the problems go away which is weird. Is there something I need to replace? Please help.

The Spark plugs may be bad or with carbon built up, clean them.

if you got $60 dollars to spend wouln't be a bad idea get your fuel injection clean at midas or jeffy lube i get my clean up every year at jeffy lube.

Good Luck

thanks for all the info guys. i am pretty sure it shouldn't be a problem with my sparks because i just replaced them and clean the insides recently. how could i check if my cat was clogged up and throttle body was loose? i use fuel system/injector cleaners so i don't think it should be a problem with the injectors. also i talked to my auto tech teacher and he said it could be the 02 sensor?? So I took it to my friend's shop and replaced the o2 sensor and the car seems to run a bit better and smoother but i should wait and see if the problem comes up again. hopefully not

just a friendly reminder, check engine light only comes on when something related to the exhaust/emissions system is not working properly. Between that and your idle issue, I'd say something is loose or your plugs are clogged. Cats clogged would give you problems in all gears, especially coming off the line.
