325is Power Windows Stopped Working

Im having alot of trouble trying to find out whats up with my power windows. It has been raining for nearly 5 days strait and on the fifth day I roll down my driver window to take money out of the ATM. However, when I attempt to roll up my window it proceeds about 5 inches stops and lowers itself I try to raise the window again and it comes to the same point but this time lowers itself and stops. It wont do anything now. The switches are fine and every time I press a button on them the motor clicks but wont budge. Please help before it starts raining again.

I would say its you window regulator, thats playing up/died.

It could also be, depending on the temp when its cold, the grease in the slider can become clogged it sort of crystallizes over the years & becomes very hard ( especially with low temps ) you can take the window out the sliders clean all the old grease out, if its become silver & sticky its u/s, replace the grease & presto, everything should work again!

Also BTW if its the grease, the windows usually slow down at first before fully stopping....

My passenger window did that a couple of times. We took the door panel off and found an old screw that was stuck in it, try taking off the door panel and look and see if there is something in it.
