325i white smoke.from the engine bay now it wont start plzz help

I changed out the power steering pump and hooked up the serpentine belt only to see if everything stay correctly turned the key on and i herd a loud pop sound the a cloud of white smoke cam out from the middle towards the front of the bay i checked the power steering pump and pulleys everthing looks fine dont know were the smoke came from but know it cranks but will not catch not even attempt to catch plezzz some one help me out!

You won't get white smoke from PS...
This has come from the radiator, or other loose connection...
Start her from cold with the hood up and notice where it comes from... Then we'll help you all we can ;-)

It doesnt come out now it was just once and the smoke was come some were from were the oil filter is
