Hello. I am new to the forum but not to cars. I just have a question. My mother had a '92 325i. I had the head rebuilt but we ended up selling the car without putting the engine back together. What applications will this head fit b/c now I am stuck with a redone head with all new valves and a HG set? I thought someone said it will only fit the 92-94 325i but I thought that it should fit all the 2.5L from 92-98; will it also fit the 525i? Thanks in advance.

this is a non vanos engine so it should fit 92-95 with ease. It SHOULD fit 95-98 obd2 cars as well but you might need an ecu and wiring harness from an obd1 car. I have no idea if it'll fit a 5 series

you should be able to find people who want it fairly easily. the 92 non vanos motor had the hottest cam profile available for a 325 from the factory, as a result it made a bit more power. The only hotter 325 compatible cams come from the S50 motor, which is VANOS so it will not fit your head.
