325i Engine Mods

Hi Guys,

I have a stock 325i e36 1991. what mods can I do get some more power out of the beast, hit me with your suggestions.

This topic has been around for years, from time to time id say. The best way get the answer is to search this forums for similar topic.

1. Exhaust + Headers
2. CAI (Cold Air intake)

-chip,
-air system (ie. exhaust ,headers with intake, throttlebody bore combo)

a little more money and do some of the internal mods like cams, pistons, lifters, crank etc

There are a lot of mods that you can do:

intake, chip, exhaust, cams, under drive pulleys

Chip goes the last, unless you want to change it every time you mod your car, or have a money to get a reprogramable chip and tune after each change. If you go with chip as a first mod, it simply wouldnt do its job, it wont read and adopt all the changes that you put after the chip. Many outhere would disagree with me so its really up to you to follow my advice or not.

^^ Agree, Chip it only after the other stuff... exhaust, headers, pulley, CAI... and don't forget, the more GO you get the more STOP you need.

chip was the first mod engine I did.. you wont be disappointed believe me.. It is the best bang for the buc and highly suggest it.

see most chips arent reprogramable, its already done for you, a chip as a first mod is great if your not planning to do many mods far after. chip was my first mod, i dont regret it, even though lots has changed since
