325i with 318 shock struts, which springs? Raising front ride height.

The first owner of my car (I'm the fourth) installed some "performance" springs to drop the front ride height for about 60mm. I want the ride height back up to where it's supposed to be, but when I took the wheel off and checked the sticker on the shock absorber strut, it said the following:

SACHS BOGE
11 1500 115 268
31.31-1 090 716.1

The 31 31 1 090 716 being the part number for the strut. I checked and those struts belong to E36 318. What the heck, should I get new springs for 318, then, even though my car is 325? Would 325 springs even fit the 318 strut assembly?

Any other tips? Should I replace anything other than the springs themselves while I'm at it? (I'd prefer not to replace the struts, new ones are expensive.)

Problem solved, I found generic E36 springs, so they should fit no matter what. I'd delete this thread but the edit button is disabled for the first post.

Yes they are generic by model and not engine size, unless the model is an "M" or "sport", these a stiffened!!

This is a moot point now that I have the generic springs, but would 318 front springs, being meant for a 4-cylinder engine as opposed to the 6-cylinder 325, have been flimsier than 325 springs?
