325 Is auto tranny into a 325 I - BMW Forum

is there any mods i need to know about?i have a 1994 325I and going to TRY to put in a trans out of a 1995 325 Is.Is this possible without any mods?i got the torque converter with the Is trans.

mods meaning modifications to install the transmission? mods meaning after market modifications? please specify..

Edit: are u talking about just putting the 95 trans into the 94? are they both auto? if yes then should be a str8 drop...
