323is suspension questions

i have a 323is with the sport suspension, i saw a video online from youtube on how to replace the cartridge in the front shocks. what i dont know is specifically what cartridge to buy or what size i need specifically. if anyone has any ideas leave me a line.

M3 struts are different from non M e36s. Just buy a new strut, put the old spring on it and bolt it back in. You'll need to rent a spring compressor, AutoZone will rent them for free, a $50 deposit that you get back when you return it.
