b&b tri-flo is probably the loudest e36 aftermarket catback

or you could fab up some pipe and clamps for $30 at pepboys, sounds amazing, you'll loose low end torque but gain some higher rpm hp, but did I mention sounds amazing

but the b&b doesnt have 323is
(im new to bmws) would other models work for my 3 series e36 ?

Oh yeah I forgot about that, you could upgrade to a 328 or 325 midpipe, you'll gain probably 10-20hp just from that alone, then you can use catbacks made for any of those cars, check some junkyards in your area or maybe ebay i'm sure you'll be able to find a midpipe for a good price.

If you don't want to go that route I think supersprint makes an exhaust for the 323 however it won't be as loud as the majority of the other aftermarket catbacks, but then again most of those are made for 325 or 328's, if you want imo the best sounding exhaust out there go with eisenmann they make one for the 323 and their exhausts sound AMAZING, very expensive though
