323 question

I have been looking at the 323 engine details and they seem to be identical except for out put to the 325.

Is it just a different ecu?

Can i make my 323 into a 325 if so where and how much

You'd have to convert to OBD I, then replace the whole exaust system, replace the intake manifold. You should be set.

is the 323 a 2.3 L or a 2.5 L?

the 323 is a 2.5L inline 6... i have one of my own... and i love it..

damn, i thought on bimmers, the last 2 digits was the size of the engine. 330, 318. 325.

thank you for this information... i am new to this type of thing can you explain a little more what needs to be done

also a rough cost and where it can be done will a scrap 325 engine be useable for the parts ?
