Hi all - Just an parculiar question i'm afraid...
got a pal who owns a straight 6, 2.0 litre 3 series,
Other than the whole belt vs chain thing and the obvious 0.5 litre difference, are their any other major differeces between them?
His is a K reg and mine is an M reg (mines the 325)

All i need is to be able to finish an arguement:
He thinks that his car will run rings around mine at any speed - granted iv got an auto box but when im at cruising speed (70mph+) it shift like a rocket - and to be fair, with the sports switch on its not slow in the lower gears either!

Anyones input would be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks

BimmerDan

No way the 320 is faster. You have 42 more horsies under the hood and these will do their job!
