318ti Water Leak

My 1996 318ti is leaking...bad. Throughout the past several months, I would occasionally notice a musty smell in the car especially after it rained. Recently, my girlfriend noticed that the passenger floor was damp. This past weekend, I was parked on a decline; it rained all night, and when I got in my car in the morning, I noticed a pool of water had collected on the passeneger floor -- maybe 1-2" deep (since the car was on a downhill, all the water was pooled at the angle between floor and firewall).

Anyway, anyone have any ideas of where this leak could be coming from and/or how I could go about fixing it?

I would think it is from the A/C drain which I advise to check and may be a hole on the car floor that causes the water ingression. May be you should raise the car and check the floor.
