318ti - tire recommendation

I am looking for recommendations for new all season tires for my 318ti (not low profile). I would like a wider, sportier tire. What brand/type do you recommend? Where is a good place to buy them? Thank you for your suggestions.

Welcome to the Werkz.

What size wheels & tyres do you have on the car now?

You can use some online resources to give you an idea of what different width & profile tyres you can use with your existing wheels, or if you are going to change the wheel size like 16" to 17", what the suitable sizes are. I use Wheel / tire size calculator / comparer - WWW.RIMSNTIRES.COM quite a bit when I was looking around to change my wheels (went from 16" diameter x 7.5" width and +20 offset(235/60/16R), to staggered 19" x 9"&10" +24 (245/45/19R & 275/40/19R).
As far as tires go, I am looking the rubber I have from continentals Sport contact2 to Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta. I have been surprised by how little difference (comfort wise) the lower profile tyre has made to the ride of my car, (60 vs 40&45), there is no problem with corrugated dirt roads.
Depending on where you live you may have to hunt around to find a Vredestein supplier, but have a look at Vredestein for the sizes that are available.

Also visit Discount Tire, Custom Wheels, Truck & Car Rims | Discount Tire for a range of tires as well as reviews and prices. These guys are sponsors of this site.

What are people's opinions of Michelin/BF Goodrich (made in the USA) tires? Also, what is a decent width that I could go with? Brettski, I still need to get back to you re to the size of tires that I have. The brand I have is Federal.

It really comes down to your budget and driving style. Get the current tire size and I'll give you some alternative sizes. Also look up you rim style and find out what width it is.
