Hello people right a few things:

1. Passenger side window ride out of the seal and has pinched it at the top. I take it a new window seal around the edge will sort this.

2. Seat belt light goes off after a couple of seconds, shouldnt this stay on until the seatbelts are put on?

3. I am having a bit of bother with the fuel guage, it doesnt work and when I wack the dash it comes on, I've had the clocks apart and bent the connectors slightly on the circuit board to maintain a better contact - still the same. I believe its when the flug is moved so I'm going to re-solder the connector on the back of the clocks to see if this helps.

4. Clutch bites right at the last minute - is that meaning its nearly gone?

5. Exhaust rattle, gonna get a garage to look at this, don't think its major, could do with new hangers all round.

I think thats it, anyone have any ideas/comments?

well, my seatbelt light goes off too. i think it's just a reminder to buckle up. i can't help ya w/ the other things.

Ok first off... the thing with the window... yes... it would be a good idea.. and it would fix the problem by replacing your weather strip. (the rubber part your window rides on)

The seat belt thing is just a reminder... not a light that stays on untill you have your seat belt on.

I would say buy a new fuel gauge... if that doesnt work.. I would go back to the sending unit... (underneath your rear seats) and check the connections there.. and research it a bit.. and see what is where.. and start replacing stuff... that is the only way to really do it. Sorry.

Unless someone before you has put a newer clutch and or a racing clutch in your car... it shouldnt really bite at the last possible release of the clutch by your foot. I would get that checked out.. it could be a number of things. Could be your clutch going.. could be the pedel... or the linkages between the pedel and the clutch. I'd have it looked at.

Exaust... its probably just a hanger... they come apart all the time... easy fix.

Yeah, I was wondering if clutch adjustment could be performed?

Thanks very much for the other pointers - I am taking apart the dash later this evening and will re solder, if not its the guage itself - which might cost me!

I think you can pick the actually gauge up for around 100... give or take 20.

In other words... I dont think you have to buy another gauge cluster. If that sucker has failed that is your problem.
