318is vibration problem

so im driving down the road and i hear this big ass clunking and the engine starts to get this low pitched vibration and it feels like its lost power. so i pull over and the ac compressor (which isnt even hooked up) is just hanging there. now im still waiting on the damn stealership to get the bolts to mount the ac compressor from germany (three fucking weeks and its still not here!!!!) now i understand that the vibration could be coming from the ac compressor just hanging there but why would it be losing power? that just makes nooooo sense at all. so any advice here would definetly help.

no its not. it hasnt been attached for a while.

well i got it figured out. there was a gap in the lower and upper intake that was caused by the icv in the middle of both. so it was coming up with the 1215 code.
