Is it possible to throw a 318ti engine into a 318is without any other modifications? Arent the motors the exact same? Need some help, i wanted to buy a local ti motor but i wasnt sure.

general preclusion about swaps? Most are done for power increase, thereby making it logical to reccomend against it.
Anyway, what happened to the old motor? Since it is obviously damaged to the point of needing removal, why not bore out the blown one and have it rebuilt better?

I was saying its not worth the increase you would expect, if any. That's why there's no point for the swap.
