i own a 316 compact, the only problem with the car is there is no power. i have been offered a 318is car for £300 it needs rear brake pipes and a little weld and it will go through its mot. i dnt know if i should do the car up and sell it and make a tidy profit, or go for putting the engine into my compact. and putting the 1.6 engine into the other car. is it worth it for the power i would be getting? what would you lads do? all work would be done by myself so i would'nt have to pay for labour any1 help
What about dropping a cossie motor in it. That would be cool. I have always fancied shoehorning a small block Ford or a 4.6 Mod Motor into my E36 when the M43 bites the dust.
Would love a sticker on the boot lid that reads "Powered by Ford"
