| It is doable. However, it is a very complicated task. Basically you have to change the wiring harness that is connected to your car. This involves some very complicated wiring techniques and a lot of time. There is a DIY out there, the last one I saw was on a geocities site. The link is some where deep in this forum. If you search enough you might find it, or perhaps some one remembered to book mark the link and hook you up. But in conclusion, they are right, it is such a pain to change it. I looked into it because I also have the time and temp unit (it does suck), but after reading the instructions for doing it I decided against it. |
